This statement applies to the Green Toolkit for Space website.

This website is hosted within the University of Edinburgh. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. For example, that means you should be able to:

Non-Compliance with the Accessibility Regulations

The following items do not comply with the WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria:

• Multi-select risk filters are keyboard operable, but need further improvement and assistive technology testing for announced state, label and role behaviour: 2.4.6 Headings and Labels and 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value.
• Interactive model packages are uploaded as standalone browser code and require accessibility review before publication: 1.3.1 Info and Relationships, 2.1.1 Keyboard, 2.4.7 Focus Visible and 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value.

We aim to improve the website's accessibility on a regular and continuous basis. The June 2026 audit identified contrast, skip-link, heading, external-link warning and image-link issues; these have been addressed in the release associated with this statement and will be retested before publication.

Disproportionate Burden

We are not currently claiming that any accessibility problems would be a disproportionate burden to fix.

At this time we believe no content is outwith the scope of the accessibility regulations.

What We're Doing to Improve Accessibility

We are addressing the accessibility issues highlighted by the June 2026 audit. As changes are made, we will continue to review and retest the accessibility of this website.

While we are resolving these issues, we will make reasonable adjustments to ensure users are not disadvantaged.

This statement was prepared on 18 June 2026. It was last reviewed on 18 June 2026.

The website was last tested in June 2026. Testing was carried out by the Green Toolkit for Space project team using automated checks, rendered HTML inspection, source review, CSS contrast calculations and manual WCAG mapping. The website has not yet been independently audited by the University of Edinburgh Disability Information Service.
